Receiving her Master’s Degree from the St. John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C., Emily came highly qualified and with a wealth of knowledge about the very current issue. Speaking from a Thomistic point of view about the nature of the world, the group had a lively discussion about the divorce that is currently taking place between gender identity and sexual preference. Our next Young Adult Gathering with be our Advent/Christmas Social on December 17 at 7:00 pm with prayer at Old St. Mary’s Church. Please bring a dish to share. Our next guest speaker, on January 7, with be Bishop Joseph Binzer, Auxiliary Bishop of Cincinnati.

The 3rd Wednesday is devoted to social time or volunteering in and around Old St. Mary’s Church in Over-the-Rhine.

The Young Adults Oratory is a fusion of the participation in the life of the Church (Adoration, Mass, Prayer with the Community) with a combination of lecture series, informal social gatherings, and community outreach. This will all be set in the traditional beauty of Old St. Mary’s, among the eclectic world of Over The Rhine, with the intellectual reverence bred by the forming Community-in-Formation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri.
