Daily Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.

Happy New Year

te-deum

The Community-in-Formation wishes everyone a very Happy New Year. We give thanks to God for all of the blessings that He has bestowed on us this past year, and we look forward to the blessings and challenges of the upcoming year. In this upcoming year, we look forward to the priestly ordination of Br. Adrian in May. We pray especially for the completion of our Pious House, for our establishment as an Oratory, and the ability to accept new members. May all of our benefactors and supporters be assured of our prayers everyday, but especially tomorrow for a very healthy and grace filled New Year.

Young Adult Oratory News

IMG_0379On December 3, Mrs. Emily Macke of Ruah Woods addressed our Young Adult Oratory group about Gender Identity. Receiving her Master’s Degree from the St. John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C., Emily came highly qualified and with a wealth of knowledge about the very current issue. Speaking from a Thomistic point of view about the nature of the world, the group had a lively discussion about the divorce that is currently taking place between gender identity and sexual preference. Our next Young Adult Gathering with be our Advent/Christmas Social on December 17 at 7:00 pm with prayer at Old St. Mary’s Church. Please bring a dish to share. Our next guest speaker, on January 7, with be Bishop Joseph Binzer, Auxiliary Bishop of Cincinnati.
