This week, I would like to introduce you to our newest staff member. Donna Kuglics has been hired to become our new Administrative Assistant between both parishes. Donna is a recent move to the Cincinnati area, coming to us from Akron, Ohio. She moved here earlier this year to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She has background in human resources as well as accounting. She has been looking to work for the Church in the later part of her career and she will be an excellent fit for both Old St. Mary’s & Sacred Heart. I am happy to welcome her here and look forward to working with her!
With the departure of Fr. Lawrence, I will now be operating the parish office primarily from Old St. Mary’s. The parish office at Sacred Heart will have hours on Monday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. This will allow for the taking of ravioli orders, taking of Mass intentions, and working on other office related items. The parish office at Old St. Mary’s will be open Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The phone systems are connected, so there would be no disruptions. You are free to call either parish number, and you will continue to reach the parish office. Thank you for your attention to this and your patience!
Please also remember that the parish picnic is coming up at the end of the month on July 28. It will be at Kolping Grove on Mill Road. The picnic will start at 3:30 p.m. If you haven’t already, please sign up at the sheets at the back of Church. There is also a sheet to sign up to bring a dish to share. At Old St. Mary’s, these sheets are near the bulletins. At Sacred Heart, these sheets are in the center vestibule. Next Sunday will be the final day to sign up to reserve a spot! This will be a good chance for everyone to socialize, as well as meet other people from our two churches and from the various Masses.
