Today is the Feast of St. Philip Neri, coinciding with the Feast of Corpus Christi. In 1595, St. Philip celebrated his last Mass on May 25, the Feast of Corpus Christi. He celebrated it with extra devotion, nearly singing the whole Mass. St. Philip’s health declined that evening before passing to his eternal reward on May 26.
