Blessed by Pope Paul VI in Fatima on May 13, 1967 and entrusted to the World Apostolate of Fatima to bring Our Lady’s plan for world peace to the people of the United States of America. After crowning the original statue of Our Lady of Fatima, Pope Pius XII said:

“I crowned Our Lady of Fatima Queen of the World, and the following year She set forth through the Pilgrim Virgin as though to claim Her dominion, and the favors She performs along the way are such that we can hardly believe what we are seeing with our eyes.”

The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue will be touring the Covington Diocese from April 10th through the 30th. She will make a special appearance at Old St. Mary’s Friday, April 17th from 7pm -9:30pm. Students are encouraged to present a spiritual bouquet to Our Lady of Fatima before and after the 8pm. Children are also invited to present roses to Our Lady at the closing celebration at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption on Thursday, April 30th at 7:30pm (Rosary will begin at 7:10pm).

“Pray the Rosary every day in order to bring peace to the world, and the end of war.”
