Two paintings, one of St. Philip Neri and the other of Bl. John Henry Newman, now adorn Old St. Mary’s, the Oratory Church. St. Philip Neri is the sixteenth century founder of the Congregation of the Oratory, while Bl. John Henry Newman is the famous nineteenth century Anglican convert to the Faith and founder of the Congregation in the English Speaking world.
